Having the TV on at all times or as "background noise" is very much a lower class thing. The more educated you are the less TV you will watch. Given that DCUM seems obsessed with what is classy and what is not, it staggers my mind that TV on all the time isn't the first thing mentioned. It's an activity that is extremely common among blue collar and uneducated people. Frankly I'm surprised that so many people here say they do it given the usual demographics of DCUM.[/quote]
