DS has Asperger's and I look at family members whose symptoms were/are worse and they turned out fine. I don't think saying this trivializes the problems that DS faces at all b/c there's some truth to it and I know people say it to make ME feel better even if they are minimizing the challenges DS faces: Ex. His OT said DS will end up at MIT someday even though he couldn't dress himself when he was 4. :lol: [/quote]
