My brother moved his family to the US when his kids were old enough to go to school b/c he did not want them attending elementary school in Korea.  His wife was a elementary teacher in Korea - it's killer competitive there starting in elementary school.  My brother was raised in the US and went to Ivy undergrad and grad.  The schools in the US are MUCH more child friendly for lack of a better word.[/quote]
