IMO, liberals have trouble admitting that some people are just fucking useless, and conservatives have trouble admitting it's easier for society to just pay them off to leave the rest of us alone.

It doesn't help matters when conservatives start sharing (often quite racist) stories about welfare queens that really don't exist.

We probably spend more on tracking welfare fraud than on tracking government contracting fraud. As a PP mentioned, drug testing welfare recipients is a money sink. [/quote]
