Belfast has been open for tourism for the last 20 years, but there is a lot of local clannishness bubbling just below the surface.

Gosh, I wonder why Irish taxi drivers in Belfast would be clannish???? My great grandfather (Irish) could not own land in Ireland until the mid-late 1800s. He and anyone Irish were treated like garbage by the English until the 1990s (and still today) so yeah, there’s can behavior.  Does no one research a country before visiting anymore? [/quote]
