She absolutely has an atypical development or mental health issue if she is this insistent not to see a medical provider at this age. It’s really, really, really atypical. And ultimately will be really dangerous. If she’s had this for months without it getting worse, it’s probably not candida. It’s probably vaginosis. But regardless, what happens when she goes to college and won’t go to the doctor for a stiff neck? She’ll die of meningitis in her dorm room. Or pneumonia.
