Magas get very flustered when you insult their golden idol
Sweetie, this is DC. Every single person in the city hates Trump. No one is MAGA. The mayoral candidates still have a responsibility to come up with plans to do something about jobs. People need help and blaming Trump isn't going to put food on anyone's table.
So your request is that we undo the crap trump had since but only in a maga-ish way? Lol, ok
Wut? Do you have a functioning brain? What we're saying is a city where 20 percent of the children live in poverty is a city that should not be writing $50K checks to for-profit businesses.
But wait! What if someone opened a store in Georgetown selling artisanal donuts and it turns out that, at the moment, not enough people are buying $15 donuts to even cover their $12,000 per month rent? Surely the government can give them $50,000 through this tough patch? We can't let a store like that go out of business.
The moral thing to do would be a government subsidy of doughnuts. The feds could subsidize $7 and the District could kick in $3. Some non-profits could offer doughnut tokens for the disadvantaged. We can fix this if we work together!
