For 2026-27, Skyview would be entirely "opt in," so having the boundaries in place wasn't critical except to the extent it affected transportation. For 2027-28, freshmen within the established boundaries could "opt out" and attend their former base schools - it would be like an expedited pupil placement. The sophomores and juniors would be the students who opted in for 2026-27. For 2028-29, freshman would be assigned to Skyview. They could still potentially pupil place to another school, but they wouldn't have an automatic right to opt out. As far as I'm aware that hasn't changed, but perhaps the difficulty hitting their targets under the original opt-in model might lead them to modify things. [/quote]
