Have you watched them play?  Pay attention when they are down or it's a close game.  The coach is losing his mind and several players are beyond terrible to their teammates.  Meanwhile Coach Nick is losing his mind with his theatrics. [/quote]

Theatrics? How about the Metro 16 coach getting ejected from their semifinal match at Show Me and having to be escorted away by security and the arbitrators? Oh, and his young daugther was sitting on the bench watching this all happen. He cost his team the match too. They were winning the 2nd set against TAV after already winning the first set. It was 21-21 in the 2nd set (after Metro won the first set). The red card made it 21-22, and then the double red/yellow ejection made it 21-23. They ended up losing in 3...[/quote]

Did Bobby Knight behave like a chivalrous figure to secure victories? He did not, yet he is recognized as one of the greatest coaches.

Are there instances when any coach might wish they could retract their hasty reactions? Certainly. Every coach possesses a unique persona, and that individuality contributes to their effectiveness. They deserve both respect and understanding.[/quote]
