Good point, Northeastern, UVA, Umich, Columbia, Notre Dame, W&M, Vanderbilt, Norte Dame, NYU, BU etc all have satellite campuses but never hear about them except Northeastern. People only bring but Emory's Oxford in a negative light when its just as hard to get into as the Atlanta campus. [/quote]

For Emory’s class of 2029:

Can’t tell if it’s for freshman only because “across all undergraduate admission plans” seems to include transfer applicants.

As for freshman, though, Emory admitted 5,658 students to the Class of 2029, with 3,621 admitted to Emory College and 3,142 admitted to Oxford College. https://magazine.emory.edu/issues/2025/spring/points-of-interest/celebrating-emory-admitted-class-2029/index.html

Emory = 14.9% acceptance rate - and it’s impossible to tell how many put down which one as a preference And again, this could be larger IF the total apps they received does inc transfer apps.

WashU= 11.9% acceptance rate

On here and tout the total number of apps to Emory but then only use only the number admitted to main campus to make it appear more selective thAn it is. For what purpose? It is selective. It isn’t as selective as WashU but so? Neither are a lot of schools and it doesn’t detract from Emory still being a good school.

Of the 37,855 students that applied last year, 37561 applied to Emory College. Only ,254 students applied to Oxford College only. Simple math done from the fact book or freshman profile. [/quote]
