Today is National Girls & Women in Sports Day! Can anyone tell me when National Boys & Men in Sports Day is?
The don't need one because for thousands of years, every day was boy's & men's everything day. But you know this. Some of you insist on being insufferable twats and pretending life is somehow especially hard for boys. Just stop. It's still a man's world.
So you want to punish today's young men for the sins of people who existed decades before they were even born?
This is what I don't get about people on this board. Young men and boys who don't know anything about the broader world yet are being raised hearing "Girl power!" all around them, and being told we can't celebrate boys, because that's sexist. How is that fair?
Maybe they should learn about the broader world. Just an idea. When my now 17-year-old was in elementary school, he came home upset one day because a girl had a shirt on that said, “The future is female.” This was during the 2016 election/Hillary Clinton. I explained the meaning of the shirt to him and why it wasn’t anti-boy. He got it. He still gets it at 17. Teach your boys about “the broader world”!
