+1 Local police know that they can’t investigate and solve crimes if every witness they try to talk to is afraid they’re going to send them to ICE detention in Louisiana, or CECOT.[/quote]

Unfortunately that is what is going to happen, and not only will any immigrants (legal or otherwise) be scared of any police, the white people will be sacred now too.
