Don't do affirmative action for men. He's not the perfect man. He's missing a key element important to you: height. Imagine if you were 250lbs, but everything else about you was unchanged. He wouldn't give you the time of day long enough to make out your hair color, much less actually date you long enough to think of you as the perfect woman who just happens to be fat. You'd just be another fat chick he passed on. He wouldn't feel a bit of guilt about it either because no one expects men to downgrade their standards. Think of it this way: How mad would you be if this midget cheated on you? It would sting that much more because you lowered your standards for him. Yet, this guy is every bit as likely to cheat as his 6'4 counterpart because men don't do gratitude. Move on.
X 1,000. Would OP get called shallow if they were a man who didn’t want to date a 5’ 300 pound woman? People are attracted to what they’re attracted to. Short men are to women what fat women with small bust sizes and flat butts are to men. It is what it is. Deal.
And every single time this comes up - you can't change your height. You CAN change your weight/workout etc.
So change 300 pounds to being ugly or an A cup.
This! And a lot of people have tremendous trouble losing weight and can’t go from 300 pounds to 120-140 realistically. It happens, but extremely rarely. As PP says, you can’t change being ugly though. If a 6’ young handsome doctor married a 300 pound ugly woman with an A cup his friends and family would probably think he was mentally unwell. Yet somehow people on here are scolding women for not wanting to date short men when they are literally hard wired to find short men unattractive. No one would call the young doctor shallow for not wanting a fat, ugly, flat wife, but women need to just suck it up and date some short dude? Just no.
