Every teacher and school admin I know are worked up about the lack of gun laws. All the time - guns are a known problem in their workplace.

And, that doesn’t excuse you not seeking medical treatment for your daughter’s anxiety to help her. You’ve said that she’s been this way since she was 3, and you won’t seek treatment. If her anxiety has been going on since she was 3, she likely needs medication. No kind of parenting will resolve her anxiety without therapy and meds. That doesn’t mean meds will be forever - my son is weaning off now after 4 years of meds with our support - but they are often the first step in being able to actually access the coping mechanisms that therapy teaches.
