And I hate bands. I'm always surprised when someone pushes their bangs aside how much better they look and they don't realize it.

Like this Agatha Raisin character. Her bangs are so GD distracting. I think she must wear a wig to have her fringe be so perfectly exactly in her eyes for all the filming.

and here's the actress with more of a side bang. Much better. I hate a thick bang and a thick SHORT bang, don't even get me started.

I am one of those people who need bangs. My forehead is so low and I have a sharp nose. I think the bangs help a bit, but I really wish I could do away with them. But at least they hide a few wrinkles now![/quote]

I've worn bangs off and on for a good chunk of my life, but more layered, largely because I have an enormous forehead yet a fairly small nose. The softer hair around my face helps balance out the two.

I have a friend who made a snide comment about bangs years ago. It was directed towards someone else but I certainly fell within the comment's intent. When my friend hit "that age," she also started experimenting with bangs and now she wears them. Go figure.[/quote]
