This is a classic case of voting for a leader based on an issue designed to be highly emotional to capture people who are less conscientious and more like to vote on what they are afraid of rather than what they want to build.

This is how Cambridge Analytica propelled Ted Cruz and then Trump to power. They divide the voting population into 2200 different groups based on their personality traits. Then, they create messaging based on fear and emotion to get the groups to vote a certain way. You are a Liberty Focused Individualist. High in Openness, Low in Agreeableness - and do not even realize you are being manipulated. [/quote]

This is correct. It also applies to Democrats. The current “Nazi” and “disappearing people” language being used by the party is the Democrat version of the playbook above. Last year, it was “threat to democracy.” This is why Biden was so confused when people wanted him to step down so a better candidate could run to save democracy - he thought everyone knew all that talk was simply campaign / GOTV verbiage.
