Do you people not read newspapers or books at all? Do you know nothing about the conflict between Sunni and Shi’a? Are you not aware that the Saudis and the Iranians have been fighting a proxy war for decades?

There is zero chance Qatar tells the US to remove their base, which is a big one. That base is basically a security guarantee for Qatar against Iran.

Qatar has no fear of Iran. They’ve lived next to Iranians for thousands of years. What they fear is what Iran fears and that’s Israel. Israel wants their neighbors  to fear them and they want to live in fear and a security state for themselves. Let them do it but we should defund it.
