Also, can any of the NESCACs really be described as “on the rise?” Are any of them lacking in respect? Top to bottom, they are the standard on which all other SLACs are judged/compared. Obviously not saying those are the “best” schools, but people take shots at Amherst, Williams, Wes, Hamilton, Mid, Colby, etc. on this board for a reason. I don’t see many Bowdoin people, for example, puffing their chests about how they’re better than W&L.

Ha ha. OK, sis. Weird flex to say that the NESCACs are the standard for mediocrity and then proudly claim a kid at Williams, what plenty on this board would happily call the quintessential NESCAC. Seems like your convictions weren’t strong enough to insist your kid go to Carleton or Pomona. Or maybe you’re just s-posting and got lost. [/quote]

Most of the Nescac is mediocre; there's the best of the best (Bowdoin, Amherst, Williams) and then there's the rest...It's a sports league, not all of us are obsessed.[/quote]

Well if you think I was suggesting that Williams and Con Coll are the same, maybe you’re just not smart enough to understand my original point. And if you really believe most of the NESCAC is mediocre (crazy work BTW) then you probably aren’t. You got to make sure everyone understood their place, though, which is a very DCUM thing to do. You can see yourself out with the WASP or nothing strivers. You know who you are and I’m getting those vibes from you.[/quote]
Triggered much? It’s a fact that Williams has a better endowment, more resources, better career and fellowship and graduate school outcomes than Connecticut college and every other NESCAC school. Pretending they’re all the same because they all play lacrosse together is just denying the inevitable truth that Williams Amherst and Bowdoin lead the pack.

Most of the NESCAC is mediocre and a few like Wesleyan and Midd are on a decline compared to where they were less than a decade ago. Williams and Amherst are in the company of Harvard and Yale; meanwhile, no person in their right mind would choose Connecticut college over the worst ivy. Get real and out of your emotions.[/quote]
