Both are made up and nobody really uses them other than Americans.

Latinx was a fad that never took off, but I have no idea what makes you think it is uncommon for people to identify with the term Latino.

My country of origin is the US. I am American, and I am also Latino. Many, many people identify as Latino in the US. It is incredibly common.[/quote]
