The dress is modest and traditional but because of her huge fake boobs and plastic face and hair extensions and the fact that the corset is cinched to create this exaggerated Kardashian silhouette, it does look trashy. Even though obviously it's a work of art by skilled artists. But she ruins it.

I think the reason Kardashians are so prominently featured is that they normalize her look. If the most famous people there were Leo and his girlfriend, Karlie Kloss, and Sydney Sweeney, Sanchez would look so especially tacky by comparison. But Khloe showed up to the rehearsal dinner in  see through dress that showed her plastic butt cheeks, and all four of them wore skin tight, boobtacular, corset gowns to the wedding. Ivanka also looks incredibly tacky. All that hideous and tasteless nonsense is what is making Lauren look slightly less deranged. Kris Jenner looks downright fashionable and toned down as well.

Thinking about Huma Abedin's recent wedding and how she looked like a human woman, and her actual age, but glowing and beautiful and happy. That's class, I don't care if Lauren's dress cost 10x as much and technically a more beautiful dress. Better to be wearing a slightly unflattering shade of white but be a person than to pay a dozen consultants to match the lace of your dress to your (fake!) teeth and the whites of your eyes but be mostly made of plastic and totally soulless.[/quote]
