This.  Didn’t read the whole thread, but after Sandy Hook, and even Columbine, which happened earlier, I knew we were on a terrible track when shooting up schools was normalized.

Gun culture is crazy and hard for me to understand.  I’m not for banning all firearms, but it needs to be HIGHLY regulated and owning a gun should be a privilege reserved for law abiding citizens.  Also, the kinds of guns available to the public should be restricted.[/quote]

Yeah it never will. More new guns have been sold in the USA in the last 20 years than the entire history of the world prior to that. Gun ownership has skyrocketed in the USA since 1993. Over 750,000,000 known firearms in the USA alone, and that's not even counting what was made prior to the early 1900s, or homemade firearms, etc. [/quote]
