This is the problem with Americans. Ignorance.

There is a war between Russia and Ukraine because Russia invaded Ukraine.  We help the attacked country with weapons.

There is a civil conflict in Sudan. We send billions in food and medical care.  There are countries giving them weapons for their own self interest.   Countries like Russia, Iran, Egypt, China, Libya. Mostly bad actors.

We typically don’t involve military in civil wars.

Israel is a unique situation.   They are a country who controls Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.   The Palestinians are not free to come and go as they please.  They are surrounded by walls.

Terrorists from Gaza went on Israeli land and killed and kidnapped.   Israel retaliated with bombs and military invasion.  1,700 Israelis have been killed.   52,000 Palestinians have been killed so far and Israel is far from over.

There have been about 13,000 Palestinian children killed by the Israelis so far.  Currently hundreds are dying from starvation and disease.   For contrast 2,000 children have been killed by Russians in their war.

The pictures we see of the dead and dying and the bombed out buildings are why this war is being protested.  A first world democracy acting like a third world country with a savage dictator.  They aren’t killing Hamas they are killing families because they want their land.

The burying of ambulances and medics after shooting them in cold blood should be enough for the US to stop funding them.   But not enough people care.    [/quote]
