If you use the timeline feature in Google Maps Street View, you can look up gas prices for the last several years. Indulge me in a trip down memory lane:

July 2023: $3.07/gallon
May 2022: $3.97
February 2021: $2.13

March 2020: $1.95
November 2019: $2.11
January 2019: $1.83
September 2018: $2.45
March 2017: $1.93

August 2016: $1.87
March 2015: $2.07
June 2014: $3.25
June 2011: $3.17

June 2008: $1.93

My apologies that the street I zoomed in on hasn't updated for 2024, but I think those numbers paint an adequate picture. I'm not saying it's quantitative data for the entire country, but I find it quite suggestive. $1.87/gallon is nice, but I can be happy with anything under $2.50. If it does get down to $1.87, will it ruin your life?[/quote]
