My map from The Weather Channel showed it started showing at 9am (which we all know wasn't right). So the forecasts were incorrect. The gamble is "will it stick to the roads?" which is really hard to predict when it's a borderline 32 degrees. They got lucky, truly. [/quote] PP again- one more thing about MCPS, if there was any real chance that it would start snowing by 9 am, they would have shut school completely today no later than 5 am. As would all the neighboring school districts except perhaps DC. That didn’t happen. That also should have been a clue that the report you were looking at was off. [/quote]
