How many jobs do you think are out there in private sector world for your skill set right now? Don’t count on anything related to government because the contractors will also be very cautious right now. If you do not have another guaranteed stream of income right now, follow your own personal job plan as if this offer was not on the table. Quit when you have your personal situation lined up.[/quote]

My DH is in the process of lining up a private sector job, and we are fortunate enough to have quite a bit of cash saved up such that we could live for a few months with no income coming in. So it’s just a matter of whether this agreement is somehow even worse than a normal resignation. With a normal resignation, I’d know that I have a month of health insurance, for example. With this agreement, could the health insurance end by March 6th, or maybe there’s no health insurance at all? [/quote]
