Do you actually know what a sanctuary city is or what the point is?

The point is twofold. 
One: ensure that members of a community are willing to work with law enforcement and don’t avoid law enforcement because they have irregular immigration status. This helps keep crime down and helps law enforcement.

Two: it saves local taxpayer funds by not diverting local tax dollars to enforcing federal law. [/quote]

By that theory, we can have sanctuary cities for those purchasing guns. No background checks and immediate purchasing with no cooling- off period. No state or federal restrictions followed.
