Because a lot of people who voted for Harris are secretly happy to see Trump in charge. I live in a blue state and the amount of “I don’t like Trump but…” comments I have heard are insane.
I know maybe three who think that and they are in the billionaire category. Everyone else - not secretly happy.
I’m in California and I’ve heard it multiple times. I do not think you understand the white-hot rage people feel towards the Democrats right now, right after the fires. There are no protests here in California for a reason.
How are Democrats responsible for the fires?
Tree and brush management as just one example.
What planet are you on? MAGA wants no government regulations and red tape. This is what republicans mean by no regulations and rules. You think regulations about tree and brush management are government over reach. Houston’s flooding is an example no regulations and rules. Your dream world.
Republicans aren’t libertarians and we believe in effective local government. It’s the California government that is responsible for wildfire management including removal of underbrush and clearing trees, filling reservoirs and properly funding the fire department. No, we don’t believe in “no regulations and rules.”
You believe in bootstraps. Well, now that they're doing away with FEMA, enjoy what the local government of Mississipi and Alabama have to offer.
