What kind of a person so aggressively hates the most disadvantaged in a society???
Omg stop. It does society no good to let every public space sink to the lowest common denominator of behavior. We went through this with the sidewalk homeless encampments during covid.
Are you ok with increasing taxes then to crate safe spaces for the homeless population to exist where you don't have to interact with them? What is your solution?
I see no evidence that there are not enough “safe spaces” already in DC but if not, sure, raise some taxes or have Ted Leonesis pay for it. My solution is that we simply have to mantain rules of decorum and safety so public spaces can be used for their intended purposes. Frankly I don’t care about homeless encampments in the woods or by freeways, but they cannot be in parks or sidewalks. I don’t care if a non-smelly, sober, homeless person who is not actively delusional wants to sit in the library and read or use the computer.
Rules of decorum?? hahahhahahahaa I care more about people not freezing to death you moron.
Libraries are NOT homeless shelters.
No one other than you keeps repeating that drivel. We know! They are spaces for everyone to use, however. Get over it.
