I see no evidence that there are not enough “safe spaces” already in DC but if not, sure, raise some taxes or have Ted Leonesis pay for it. My solution is that we simply have to mantain rules of decorum and safety so public spaces can be used for their intended purposes. Frankly I don’t care about homeless encampments in the woods or by freeways, but they cannot be in parks or sidewalks. I don’t care if a non-smelly, sober, homeless person who is not actively delusional wants to sit in the library and read or use the computer. [/quote]
