I have heard of Olney, but couldn't place it on a map with a gun to me head.  Brookville is as much of a mystery as Ashton.  Ask yourself - why on earth would someone who lives in DC, or Bethesda, or Arlington have ever heard of Brookville?  [/quote]

There is a Brookville Road in Silver Spring, but it's not an area.

Brookeville, MD is a little area with some nice homes.  There's an historic district, too.

Now (to the other PP) why would you visit?  I didn't say I wanted you in my neck of the woods, as where we live -Brinklow - is nice and cozy and definitely NOT crowded.  We prefer it that way.  But there are such things as maps that reach BEYOND Bethesda and DC.

So even if you're fearful of driving outside of your comfort zone, you can at least be aware of these areas by looking on the computer.
