OMG -this is crazy especially for a mother. Referring to the procedure as vacuuming makes it sound like she is doing a harmless spring clean of her arms.

Skin and tissue damage

Skin irregularities: Skin may appear bumpy, wavy, or withered

Numbness: Treated areas may feel temporarily or permanently numb

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT): Blood clots can form in the veins, organs, brain, and leg 
Fat embolism: Pieces of fat can break away and travel to the brain or lungs

Fluid buildup 
Seromas: Temporary pockets of fluid that may need to be drained

Pulmonary edema: Fluid buildup in the lungs
Other risks Lidocaine toxicity, Kidney and heart problems, Thermal burn or heat injury, Poor wound healing, and Rippling or loose skin
