I don’t talk to strangers. It irks me when some AA women start to comment in public that I should have said excuse me or hello or thank you. I do what I can to stay out of people’s way and that is just the way I am. I am also curious as to whether or not that person who berates me in public is just as harsh with her judgments when it is a person who is also from her ethnicity. I don’t understand why some women behave like this
Oh, you're definitely TA. A racist one at that.
You are exactly what I mean. When I am out and about I do not converse with strangers or start or join a conversation. What is wrong with that? People like you are what I need to avoid
The fact that you're a grown-ass adult who can't function in public and yet it's everyone else's fault is why you're the TA.
Oh I function very well. And I have learned the street smarts to avoid certain types of people
But you're getting called out for not saying "Excuse me" and "Thank you". I think you need to learn that that is part of functioning in public. You have to say those things. It's not "conversing with strangers". Even children know this.
No Those are not words you need to say when commuting You should say them when you’re at work, school, or wherever else. When out and about you avoid people and keep your mouth shut.
