That isnt very nice- he has admitted that he is autistic.  Its not his fault that people arent able to deal with someone being clever/genius in one area and atypical in other areas, how is that is his fault?

its his audiences fault, i have a dear relatove who very loved and very astute in his narrow subject area but when he starts talking about other things we patiently listen and then change the subject or his parents tell him to "hush now"- if we all started follwing all of his advice that woudl be on us, not on the poor autistic kid who sees the world so differently and doesnt experience the human condition in the same way as the majority of people. That’s all well and good, but we’re not talking about some unknown relative here. This is a guy who is sticking his nose in everyone else’s business and trying to influence policy. That is not good given his limited personality and capabilities.

In business you wouldn’t put this kind of person in a customer facing position if you can help it. You keep them in a back office and consult them as needed in areas they are good at. [/quote]
