A lot of people, no matter how clearly it’s shown in statistics or data, will close their eyes to the reality of crime in Wards 7 and 8. The mental gymnastics are too hard and the moral absolutism runs too deep in their virtuous bodies that they can’t process why Amazon drivers are scared to deliver packages. Biologically, humans are preprogrammed to route for the underdogs, so this will never change. Either way, maybe they should sign up to deliver packages and see how it goes.
The absolute irony of someone claiming "mental gymnastics" and "closing their eyes to reality" who doesn't even understand the basic premise of the lawsuit they're prattling on about. As has already been explained countless times in this thread, the lawsuit has nothing to do with Amazon drivers being scared to deliver packages. They are free to deliver or not deliver to any zip code they choose. They are not being sued because they aren't delivering to Wards 7 and 8, they're being sued because they're charging residents of wards 7 and 8 for two day delivery, telling residents of wards 7 and 8 that they can get two day delivery, and not giving them two day delivery. And by the way, I'm a Ward 7 resident and former FedEx driver, so I'm doubly qualified to tell you that you're full of crap.
