I heard one of the STEM classes just had their final moved to in person because so many of the students cheated in the previous online exams.[/quo Why are you reactivating an old thread with gossip? What is your agenda?
My agenda is that I’m literally just blown away by the amount of cheating. What does this mean for the next generation of the workforce. Already, one of the big 4 accounting firms had cheating scandal in their training program and fired several employees. All I hear on DCUM is about everyone’s perfect 4.0 kids. How much of that is real and how much is cheating? I suspect some of the cheating is caused by this perfection standard we have for our kids. It’s insane and it is a good part illusion. Our kids aren’t perfect. They are propped up by grade inflation and cheating.
And I don’t just think it’s UVA, my kid just happens to go there and they tout their so-called honor code.
