No one cares and 99.9% of these kids will never play in college!
Actually about 92% will not play in college.
BS - the kids in a dominant program like Dulles South mostly will go on to play in college. For example, the Dulles South class of 2026 already has multiple D1 commits, and by November 1 of next year, most or all of them will be committed somewhere in D1, D2, or D3. The coaches and the kids in this program play to win and they take pride in that.
Go easy there, Chip. They have 30 kids per class, and most definitely all of them are not going on to play in college. Even if about anyone could play somewhere in D3. It's a rec program after all. And certainly not a "dominant" one.
DS typically has about 8-10 boys per year that go on to play in college. Probably about 3-5 each year at D1.
You said "mostly all go on to college" and "most or all of them will be committed". 8 out of 30 isn't all of them, and it's not close to most of them.
You are pointing out an inconsistency between two different posters, but in any event, I am the poster who said "mostly" will go on to play in college and I'm happy to explain further. I cited the DS 2026 class as an example, and I was referring only to the A team, which in its final season of 14U had 16-17 players. there are already several D1 commits, including Boston University, High Point, Vermont. I expect a couple more D1, plus some D2 and D3s by the spring/summer, plus a couple of 2027s who will be committing next year, meaning that most of those 16-17 will play in college. I don't count the B players because they generally do not play in Fall Brawl, and the original debate was whether the kids representing teams like Dulles South at Fall Brawl are going to play in college. Someone said that 99% will NOT play in college, and I was responding to that. Sorry for any confusion - hope this helps!
