There is no doubt that there are plenty of dedicated, hardworking, and talented feds. But you're lying to yourself if you think there's not a contingency that's lazy and milking the system. I think the solution isn’t 5 days in the office. Maybe it’s tracking software for managers and making it easier to fire slackers. I have one employee that works just hard enough to skate by but mostly does no work. He’s been on PIPs and it took a lot of work for me to get him there but HR won’t let me fire him. I spend so much time managing that and it also brings down the morale of other employees. [/quote]
