Her aging is not an issue. The extra 40 pounds is a MAJOR issue and a complete turn off
Did she give birth? Go through menopause? Are you the same as you were at 20?
Woman in her 50s here, and I am so tired of the comments about gaining weight due to childbirth and menopause. I have experienced both and I haven’t gained any significant weight. I work out, move a lot, and eat a healthy diet.
It’s always amazing that people can live half a century and not realize how different we all are.
That’s right. We are all different. Some women, after childbirth/my age, take care of ourselves. I was playing soccer six weeks after giving birth, and I do a crazy amount of burpees at my age just because I would rather be uncomfortable for 30 mins than carrying around an extra forty pounds. Then there are other women who are lazy, and blame their weight gain on being a “woman” (child birth, menopause). I do empathize with those who are impacted by health issues. I know I will be hit with some health issue. For now, I am willing to be uncomfortable doing 100 burpees in a workout session. For the record, I have been an only parent for 10 years, and I have a career. I did a lot on my own as a single parent.
