Michael Jackson had an immensely messed up childhood, probably worse than what is known by the general public. He said his hairs on the back of his hand would stand up when his father raised his voice. He wetted the bed and physically was knocked unconscious by his dad and saw his brothers face the same fate. Joe used to have a belt in his hand while watching the boys rehearse and rehearse over and over again. If they missed a step, he would whip them. Their rehearsal sessions were often interrupted as Joe took one of the boys to a back room to beat him senselessly. Michael would sing at bars and seedy clubs around town from the age of 8 years old and he would watch as his father flirted and slept with other women. One time he told his mother and Joe beat him so bad he crapped his pants. That’s just what is known. His father who was fairer skinned with green eyes also made fun of his looks and his wider nose and darker skin. He called him ugly. When Michael was signed to Motown and finally got some money, he would buy candy and give it for free over in Gary Indiana so he can bribe people to be his friends and go to the park with him. He had a really sad early life and no doubt he used dissociation and daydreaming that he was Peter Pan to escape his reality. Neverland is the name of the mythical place in Peter Pan. It should’ve been known he was mentally I’ll when he spent millions as an adult on a ranch and named it Neverland and tried to change his looks to become Peter Pan
That may be, but if he was molesting kids, I don’t really care. He shouldn’t get a pass because we like his music and his dad was mean.
But he very likely wasn’t molesting kids. He just wanted to still be a kid himself. He was mentally ill so he didn’t have normal, appropriate boundaries, and no awareness of how his behavior would look to others.
The kids are right there in bed with him. Super weird my kids don’t share beds with their same aged friends. Why else would he want to do this? The explanations seem like huge reaches.
Michaels Bedroom at Neverland was the size of a McMansion, it was a 2 storey suite and his bed was like 10 feet by 16 feet or something and there were several smaller beds and pull out cots around that room. He said sometimes his kids and others would sleep on his bed and he would sleep on the floor because it felt better for his back pain. He grew up sharing a bed with 4-5 brothers and his dad, and his mom and sisters in the other bedroom so he didn’t see sharing a bed as strange. His only fun times as a kid was playing with his brothers and sisters. He had severe insomnia issues that eventually killed him using powerful anasthesia for 60 straight days to sleep (Propofol). Some people have sex addictions because they can’t handle sleeping alone. That wasn’t his thing. He liked to have sleepovers. Was this a terrible idea? Yes. But Michael was convinced he wanted to live as a child not an adult
