Yes, first mention was at the 3:45 meeting.  Team Reps were told about the meeting at 3:00pm.  They also did not have the pool set up with lane lines for pool familiarization, so there was no opportunity for teams to even see that it was an issue ahead of time.  How is this not an issue at every meet Rutherford hosts?[/quote]

My kids are in the same B meet group with Rutherford, and I've been a stroke and turn judge at B meets at Rutherford maybe 4 or 5 times, and I don't remember ever being told anything about the lanes.  And it wasn't in the pre-meet info for ASR.  My guess is that someone at one of the hyper competitive top division teams noticed the wall curve and brought it up as an unfair advantage. [/quote]
