I was but searching if you give boys flowers too after graduation. At least half of the girls or more her flowers handed to them after graduation at almost every graduation that I have ever attended. And I believe a lot of boys do also. Just couldn’t remember for sure in the boys. So thought I’d search it up. It it’s definitely a thing already that girls get flowers majority of the time. Curious for those that went to the graduation’s mentioned, did you see the girls getting flowers? And did you see the boys getting anything?
We didn't get our son flowers but a college-aged female friend who came to the ceremony brought a big bouquet for him and also one for at least one other girl she was there to hang out with. This circle of friends has a school theater background so giving flowers is a thing. We took grad pictures of him with it. It was not something expected but it was a nice gesture. We go with the flow. That said, it can be inconvenient to receive flowers when away from home. When I was in the hospital for my two babies, I was asked if I'd like flowers at the hospital and I said no. I didn't want to have to schlep vases home along with baby and all baby's things. I personally would prefer to have my hands free on site at a graduation. So we haven't started a trend unless second son also has a friend spontaneously gift him a bouquet.
