You can call it antisemitism if you want but I believe at least some Americans are finally waking up to the fact that Israel has caused a lot of the problems that it finds itself facing these days.
I think it's been an eye opener both ways. Many unaffiliated Americans are more aware of what's been happening in the Middle East including Israel's transgressions. However, it's also exposed the hypocrisy of many on the left. Believe women, but when it comes to Jewish women it's "show us the rapes." Be mindful about microaggressions, but "Globalize the Intifada" seems fine. Remember when BLM Chicago posted the image of the Hamas paragliders? Yikes. Doesn't seem anyone got fired for that. No, not everyone on the Left is antisemitic, but the Left is either condoning it or doing a piss poor job of policing its own.
You don’t see any hypocrisy on the right? Going after Ivy League universities for supposedly not protecting Jewish students when the extreme right has always wanted to take down elite universities and this is a convenient reason to go after them? What about the evangelical Christians being staunchly pro-Israel because they see Israel as the biblical land enroute to their own salvation
