I don't have to know whether or not Friend B got her kids ponies to know Friend B is a jerk for pressuring a friend who is in a financial bind to give her a treadmill for free. It doesn't actually matter what the wealth difference is, or even that there is a wealth difference, to view Friend B's behavior as rude here. That is not a normal way to treat a friend.[/quote]
