In fact, he "can't get fired in a million years" - there is, like, a separate category of unfirability invented around him. He is so extremely specialized that everybody wants to hire him. After all, as everyone knows, the more specialized one is, the more jobs are out there that perfectly match his exact specialization. Despite that, however, he has to answer every call from whoever is in any way connect to his work, no matter when and where. Why does he have to be so forthcoming if his salary can't be increased, he can't be fired, and he can't leave remains somewhat of a mystery.[/quote]
