Melania resurfaces with a giant plant on her shirtdress.
She looks beautiful. Love the dress. She wears it well.
If we concede that she was sending messages via clothing during Trump’s years - “I don’t really care, do u?” isn’t exactly subtle - what message is she sending here? He’s a potted plant? I’m a plant?
I’m not a Trump fan by any stretch, but I actually think her “I don’t really care, do u?” message was spot on. Whining and complaining and TALKING about how much you “care” isn’t worth a GD thing… so how many of you actually DID anything about it, or God forbid made any sacrifices? Not many. So how much did you REALLY care?
... I think First Lady is a position where you have a platform and can actually do a lot of good, by promoting awareness of different issues. The only message she ever sent was "I don't care" and she half-assed her First Lady duties. Which is actually fine, making "First Lady" a job seems so silly in this day and age. But doing nothing with the role isn't admirable, either.
She’s not getting paid so she doesn’t have to do a GD thing IMO
I guess she's paying room and board at the WH?
Are you serious with this nonsense take? A “perk”/necessity for the someone to be president is that his family gets to live in the White House. That still doesn’t mean the First Lady is on the payroll. Do you expect the kids to be scrubbing dishes, too? She was neither elected nor hired - therefore any “work” she chooses to do is charity. It should NOT be expected. (Unless of course you’re a typical misogynist who thinks women should work for free.)
