Robert Downey jr was so dismissive when he got the Oscar from Ke Huy, he seemed like he went out of his way to ignore him twice while acknowledging the others.
This - this made me cringe. Also, did anyone else see the weird clip of Emily Blunt pawing all over Cillian Murphy after he won? She jumped right in front of his wife to hug him and couldn’t stop touching him - gave me the ick.
This awards season has really made me dislike her. She seems so fake.
Me too! And I had warm feelings about her before. I did not even think she should have been nominated, not because she was bad in Oppenheimer but because her role was just really minor and not well-developed in the movie. I remember wondering why they bothered to cast a "name" actor in the role because her character was so generic. Though I don't view that as her fault. But the added exposure from being nominated has not been great for her. She comes off as arrogant and incredibly self-involved. And her clothes have been bad! I know that's shallow but... that's what celebrities are for. If they don't seem charming or interesting or at least have good style, there's no point for red carpets and celeb interviews and such.
