Nobody at my kid's school has time for 3 sports, basketweaving, and barbershop quartet practice. [/quote] Most private schools of a high caliber are requiring a sport unless you substitute that block of time in the schedule with something like robotics or drama. It’s an expectation, not an extra, and it’s geared towards college placement. They aren’t producing kids who are JUST excellent students.[/quote]
