If/when it goes to court, the court is sealed. The court files are sealed. The CPS files are sealed from public purview and even getting access to them by a party with standing can involve many layers of legal maneuvering. If you live in the same jurisdiction and another report is made on you to CPS, yes they’ll know there was prior involvement. That’s how they ascertain patterns of abuse in families over time so it’s stupid to suggest that policy shouldn’t exist.[/quote]
