Is it that you don’t want to waste your ED1 on UChicago until you know what the probability of getting in is?   UChicago is notorious for wanting you if you want them.  Lots of kids get in ED1 and ED2.  My suggestion is that if your kid likes the school, s/he consider applying ED to improve his/her chances.

Is it that you think there is something shady about the admission process because they don’t release their numbers?   If so, I suggest you move along and ask your child not to apply.  They aren’t going to change their behavior because you call them out on an anonymous website.  And you shouldn’t send your precious child and hard earned dollars to a school you don’t trust.

But could please stop with with gratuitous bashing of the school because they don’t give you the info you think you are entitled to as a general member of the public?  [/quote]
