Exactly! I’m married to an engineer. He’s thoughtful and precise. It saves lives. It has also greatly improved how my household runs (second marriage). I’m Team OP’s DH.[/quote]

Well then he’s not exactly “thoughtful and precise,” is he? He may save lives for his job, but he’s significantly harmed his kids’ lives with a divorce. I think it’s hilarious you think he is some perfect man when he failed at marriage and having a happy family, the most important basic things in life. [/quote]

DP. Engineering is not a precision science. We deal with the physical world and models that "are wrong but still useful." If you are doing anything with more than three significant figures, you aren't engineering. That's the level of precision you can expect from an engineer. [/quote]
