For all the people who have been telling OP she is a snowflake for weeks, I hope you get some lumps of coal in your stockings. Yelling is abuse. Screaming at people can be as damaging as physical abuse. Continue to be kind to yourself OP and if you don't have a therapist, get one. It can be helpful to talk through how you are feeling. if you've had a panic attack because of this, you should certainly get some care so that you can heal. [/quote]

I actually talked to my therapist about all of this yesterday and I was telling her how ridiculous i feel because even though I know I have such a short time left, it makes zero difference and that isn’t helping.

For me, this situation feels unbearable, and YET, I cannot leave it. I think that is what puts me into a state of panic.

I have been teaching 20 years and my first year of teaching lots of people quit because of the stress and anxiety of the job.  I did some drugs on the weekend to get through my first year sometimes because my school had violence issues and kids were verbally abusive to adults.  I get it.[/quote]
